I had the passion of music starting when I was about 14 Years old. The first concert I attended was CKY at a small venue called Uncle Doctor's. From there on my friends and I were frequently going to shows at New Brookland Tavern. In my younger years I loved art, anything from drawing to painting. but over time I lost the passion and could not come up with any idea what i wanted to draw. So I gave it up. Around the age of 15 I picked up the drums and actually got my first set for free. Moved to Ohio in 2003 and lost the set to a storage company in the move back to SC. I was an avid skateboarder from the age of 13, but when I sustained an ACL injury to my knee when I was 19. I was unable to skate until I came up with the money for surgery. So I picked up the art of photography to stay involved. From shooting skateboarding, I ended up shooting landscapes, scenery and eventually moved to portraits, and weddings. Then I was asked to shoot video from a guy I met in a local boardshop, Steven Seshun, the founder of Holypalooza Concert ask me to come down and film the concert for him to have some footage to use for future years sponsors. I said " sure thing." I found out Flyleaf was the headlining act. Needless to say I was pretty stoked (it was a pretty big band at the time) From then on I have taught myself the ways of working with my camera, fast motion of band members, and dark lighting.I have been shooting concerts since, and do not plan on stopping anytime soon. Through shooting photo's of a St. Patrick day festival, I ended up shooting for the local radio station here for it every year, which ended up landing me a job at the station, and still employed. I have had the pleasure to shoot bands like Molly Hatchet, Papa Roach, Rise Against,Fuel,JET, Theory Of a Deadman, A Day To Remember, and tons more!!
